Established in June 2024, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at SNGCET Payyanur is dedicated to shaping future innovators in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and Data Analytics. The department promotes industry collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and real-world projects that create meaningful societal impact.

The B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS) equips students with expertise in data processing, intelligent systems, and real-time problem solving. The interdisciplinary curriculum blends Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Data Science, while offering exposure to advanced technologies such as Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning, Robotics, etc.

With added focus on Entrepreneurship and Ethics in AI, the program prepares students for successful careers in industry, research, higher studies, and technology-driven startups.
