The Science And Humanities Department of SNGCET had organized a two hour session on “Gender Studies”, on 12 th september,2023, at the meeting hall, for the final year students, carried out by Mr. Abhirosh k, Assistant Professor in Economics. The session was meant to understand how society and culture influence our idea of what it meant to a man or a woman in various contexts.

The “Logic Luminaries”, a class on Mathematics as tools in engineering for S5 ME, ECE, ECE and CE was conducted on 5 th August, 2023, by the resource person Mr. Shyaman V P, with the aim to explore the pivotal role of mathematical concepts in various engineering disciplines. the session provided an overview of the key topics covered during the class and highlights the significance of Mathematics in solving real world engineering problems.

The department Science And Humanities of SNGCET had conducted a seminar ton “Effective Communication and English Grammar”, on 19 th June 2023, at the seminar hall for s2 students. the session was scheduled for FN session. beginning from 9:30 a m. the session was handled by the resource person MS. Reshma A, with an objective of enhancing students’ English grammar and communication, especially to get in detail with the grammatical portions enumerated in their present curriculum.

The department Science And Humanities of SNGCET had conducted a seminar on “Fundamental Rights and IT Laws”, on 19 th June 2023, at the seminar hall, for the S4 students of all branches. The session had commenced from 1: 30 P M. the talk was conducted with an objective to enhance students’ knowledge in law sector. The session was carried out by the resource person Adv Prasanna Manikandan. The importance of fundamental rights and duties of an Indian citizen and the topics like IT laws and cyber security, beyond the curriculum were also highlighted.
