The student induction programme “VIHAAN 2023” was conducted for the first year newly admitted students at Sree Narayana Guru College of Engineering and Technology, Payyanur, Kannur, under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The programme was held from 8th September 2023 to 15th September 2023, following the AICTE norms for all branches.

The programme includes the sessions dealing with familiarization of College, Departments, Mentoring of the Students and Universal Human Values, Interaction with Prominent Alumni, Physical Activities, Creative Arts, Literary Activities, proficiency modules in English, Mathematics, and Computer Programming, Lectures and Workshops by eminent people, extra-curricular activities, etc. The Induction Programme had set out a strong foundation for the students’ four yearlong Engineering journey.
