Electronics and Communication Engineering Department

Established in 2003, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is approved by AICTE and affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) since 2015. With a team of experienced and dedicated faculty, the department offers strong infrastructure and a dynamic learning environment.

Focused on shaping skilled, industry-ready engineers, ECE blends technical expertise with essential soft skills. Students are encouraged to gain hands-on experience through projects and innovation. The department actively organizes quizzes, seminars, workshops, tech fests, and conferences, fostering a culture of learning and creativity. Our graduates have built a strong reputation, securing placements in leading national and multinational organizations.

Programme Specific Objectives (PSOs)
PSO1 Demonstrate skills in electronic system design by designing, implementing, and testing analog and digital electronic circuits, including microprocessor systems, for applications in signal processing, communication, networking, VLSI, and embedded systems.
PSO2 Apply knowledge and skills in communication and signal processing with wireless technologies to conduct experiments and develop applications using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and communication solutions.
PSO3 Use modern tools and technologies to develop IoT-based applications for industrial and societal needs.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
PEO1 Graduates will apply knowledge in the fundamentals and advanced concepts of Electronics and Communication Engineering to analyze, design and create novel products and solutions for the real-life problems, and pursue Higher education with interdisciplinary domains.
PEO2 Graduate will design and develop using modern engineering tools with innovative skills towards the requirement of the Electronic and Communication industry
PEO3 Graduates will develop a professional outlook with effective communication and responsible interaction with professional ethics for the betterment of the societal needs.
