The Hobby Club at our college is a vibrant hub where passions come alive. From the
serene strokes of painting to the rhythmic beats of music, it's a haven for diverse
interests. Students converge here to share, learn, and cultivate their hobbies. Artists
flourish on canvas, musicians harmonize, and bookworms delve into literary realms.
The club hosts workshops, competitions, and events, fostering creativity and
camaraderie among peers. It's a melting pot of ideas and talents, nurturing skills
beyond academics. Whether it's dance, photography, or coding, the Hobby Club

Dance Club
On September 10, 2024, at 12:45 PM, Swami Bodhananda Hall at SNGCET hosted the inauguration of the "Taal The Beat" Dance Club, alongside the unveiling of its logo. The event, organized by the College Hobby Club, was honored by Principal Dr. Leena AV, who led the ceremony. Speeches were also delivered by Staff Advisor Abhilash Krishnan T K, Dean Susan Abraham, Hobby Club President Veena K K, and Secretary Abhirosh K.
Onam Celebration 2024 Flash Mob
To celebrate the vibrant festival of Onam, Taal the Beat Dance Club organized a flash mob on 11th September 2024. This event aimed to engage the college community, showcase the artistic talents of club members, and enhance the festive atmosphere on campus.
Fashionista
The Hobby Club of SNGCET successfully organized the Fashionista” ramp walk competition on 30th January 2025 at 4:00 PM. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 11 groups (22 members) showcasing their creativity and style on stage.
The program was skillfully compered by Sara and Fathimathul Zuhra from S4 CSE, keeping the audience engaged throughout. A special performance by first-year students, who presented a vibrant dance, added to the excitement. Additionally, P Anirudh and Sreerag M delivered a soulful musical performance, which was well received by the audience.
The competition received immense support from both students and faculty members, creating a lively and encouraging atmosphere. After an impressive display of fashion and confidence, the winners were announced by the Principal, who also presented the prizes.
