The National levelTechnical Fest conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering was held on 22 nd and 23 rd of November 2022. Mr. Brijeesh Balakrishnan, the President of ITC infotech was the chief guest and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Jithu, RJ, RED FM. The event started with the formal inaugural function at 9:45 am in the Seminar Hall. A welcome address was delivered by Mr. Sundar V (HOD, CSE). Principal’s address was delivered by Dr. Leena AV, Ms. Veena K K (Assistant Professor, CSE) had briefed the event, and Ms. Thulasibai (Assistant Professor, CSE) had introduced the chief guest. The inaugural address was delivered by the chief guest, followed by Dr. Susan Abraham (Dean PG and UG Studies) and Mr. Ashok Hegde L (Administrative Officer). The inaugural function ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Pallavi Swaroop Kumar (Student Coordinator, CSE). A small interactive session - “Talk with RJ Jithu”, by the Guest of Honour, was held after the inaugural session. With an enthusiastic dance performance by the CSE students of SNGCET, the technical fest had a drastic beginning with the first event QUIZZARD (Technical Quiz) of three rounds. QUIZZARD and BUG SMASH (code debugging) had blowed the minds of the students with plenty of codes. The SCAVENGER HUNT filled with excitement, challenges and delightful surprises around every corner. An online webinar on "Basics of Search Engine Optimization" by Mr. Subin Yusuf, CEO Digimark, Digital academy in google meet was held on the same day at 7:30 pm.  On second day the final round of QUIZZARD and BUG SMASH was conducted and a workshop on "Router Configuration with CISCO" was presented by Mr. Bineesh M, Network Trainer in Emid Tech, Bangalore. IDEATHON (Paper Presentation) was conducted along with INNOVIX (Project Presentation) on the same day.

The closing ceremony was addressed by the chief guest Dr. Naveena A K, (HOD, CSE, CET Trikaripur). The student coordinator Mr. Rishal Iqbal (CSE) delivered a welcome address, Ms. Pallavi Swaroop Kumar, student coordinator had briefed the event "Techkranti 5.0". The winners of the events were announced and prizes were distributed by the Principal and the chief guest Dr. Naveena A K. The winners of the events were given the certificate of merit and cash prize. Ms. Varsha M (Assistant Professor, CSE) had delivered the vote of thanks and drew the curtains of "Techkranti 5.0".
